MBE is a leading provider of Operation and Maintenance services for Complete Material Handling and Ash & Pneumatic Handling Systems for Thermal Power Stations, Conveyor Systems for Mining and Raw Material Handling Plants and Heavy Stockyard / Bulk Cargo Machineries. MBE has in-house facilities for manufacturing a major portion of equipment and spare parts in these areas.

Also, MBE has a team of highly qualified and experienced service engineers for Operation & Maintenance .

MBE’s excellent performance in this field has earned the trust of important customers like DPL, WBPDCL, APGENCO, NLC, MSPGCL,GMDCL, VEDANTA and JSL to name a few.

Some of the prestigious projects where MBE has carried out Operation & Maintenance Services are :

• 800 TPH Coal Handling Plant of 3X210 MW at Bakreswar Thermal Power Station
• 1200 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Kothagudem Thermal Power Station, Paloncha
• High Concentration slurry disposal of 2 x 250 MW Budge Budge Generating Station, Kolkata of CESC for 2 years
• Ash Handling Plant for New Parli Thermal Power Project (1 x 250 MW) for 1 year 6 months.

Some on-going Operation & Maintenance Contracts of MBE are :

• O & M of Ash handling and ash water recovery system of 2x210 MW Neyveli Thermal Power Station Expansion – I, for 3 years and still continuing.
• O & M of Ash handling System of 7x210 MW Neyveli Thermal Power Station Expansion – II.
• O & M of Ash Handling Plant for Akrimota T.P.S. – G.M.D.C. Project (2 x 125 MW) for 2 years and still continuing.
• O & M of Ash Handling System for Jindal Stainless Steel – CPP (2x125 MW).
• O & M of 1000 TPH Coal Handling System for Durgapur Projects Limited (1x300 MW) for 1 year and still continuing.
• O & M of 800 TPH Coal Handling System for W.B.P.D.C.L.’s Santaldih Thermal Power Station (1x250 MW) for 1.5 years and still continuing.
• AMC of 800 TPH Coal Handling System for W.B.P.D.C.L.’s Sagardighi Thermal Power Project (2x300 MW).

In addition to this, contract for Operation & Maintenance and Annual Maintenance Contract for plants like NLC- Barsingsar Lignite & Lime Stone Handling, Vedanta-Jharsuguda Carbon Area and Ash Handling of Phase-II CPP, Ash & coal Handling of Bakreswar TPP of WBPDCL, Coal Handling of Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Station of MPPGCL , Coal handling of Mejia Thermal Power Station of DVC etc. are also in the pipeline.

Spare Parts

MBE Projects have a Spares Division which is fully geared up to supply ash handling and coal handling spares required in different types of ash / coal handling systems. The Division is manned with experienced engineers having long working experience in the field of supply of equipment and spares for ash / coal plants. The spares are manufactured at large manufacturing facilities at Kumardhubi and Asansol.

MBE caters to supply of fast moving and critical spares for system / equipment like Bottom Ash Hopper, Clinker Grinder, Jet Pumps etc. for Bottom Ash Handling System; Various components like Hopper Isolation Valve, Ash Intake Cup Valve, Ash Discharge Valve, Vent Air Valve, Bag Filters, Fluidising clothes, Branch Segregating Valve, Special types of bends and pipes etc. for Fly Ash Handling Systems and spares for Paddle Feeders, Stacker cum Reclaimers, Crushers, Screens, Belt conveyor system etc. for the Material Handling System.
