Coal Handling Plant

MBE, the pioneer in Bulk Material Handling Systems, has built over 150 projects ranging from 500 TPH to 20,000 TPH. MBE is proud to have executed the first indigenously built cross country Coal Conveying System and Coal Handling Plant at Talcher Thermal Power Station for Orissa State Electricity Board in 1968.

Many Utilities both run by Government and Private sector have our equipment and systems running satisfactorily for more than 5 decades. Backed up by our factories spread over the country, we have been able to obtain customers' sincere appreciation.

We supply almost all the equipment required for CHPs like Wagon Tippler with Side Arm Charger, Paddle feeder for Track Hopper, Long Distance Conveyors–troughed & piped, Stacker Reclaimers, Crushers, Impactors, Screens, Apron Feeders, Travelling Trippers, Wagon Loading & Unloading Systems. In a nutshell, we are a one stop shop from Concept to Commissioning for CHPs & associated equipment.

  • 3000 TPH Coal Handling Plant including Wagon Tippler and associated system, Crushing & Screening, Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for Jharsuguda Thermal Power Station (4x600 MW) for Vedanta Aluminium & Power.
  • 2000 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Sagardighi TPP, Stage-II, Unit-3 & 4 (2 x500 MW) including Wagon Tipplers and associated System, Track Hopper with Paddle Feeder, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (Under Construction).
  • 2000 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Vindhyachal STPS, Stage-IV, (1 x500 MW) including Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for M/s National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (Under Construction).
  • 820 TPH Lignite and Limestone Handling System Package including Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work in Barsingsar Thermal Power Station (2x125 MW) of Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited.
  • 1000 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Durgapur Projects Power Station, Extn. Unit No. 7 (1 x 300 MW) including Track Hopper with Paddle feeder, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for Durgapur Projects Limited.
  • 800 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Sagardighi TPP, Stage-I, Unit-1 & 2 (2 x300 MW) including Track Hopper with Paddle feeder, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited.
  • 800 TPH Coal Handling Plant at Santaldih TPP, Unit-5 (1 x250 MW) including Track Hopper with Paddle feeder, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited.
  • 1600 TPH Coal handling plant for Stage –III, Unit no.-7 (1x 500 MW) including Belt Conveying System and Stacker cum Reclaimer with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility works at Ramagundam Super Thermal Power, for M/s National Thermal Power Corporation Limited executed in 2006.
  • 800 TPH Coal handling plant including Track Hopper, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work at Bakreshwar TPP (3x210 MW) under West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited having value of RS. 147.00 Crores executed in year 2000.
  • 960 TPH Coal Handling Plant including Wagon Tipplers and associated system, Paddle feeder, Crushing & Screening, Stacker cum Reclaimer and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work at Budge Budge 2 x 250 MW Thermal power station in1998 under Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation Limited having total contract value more than Rs. 100.00 Crores.
  • 1600 TPH Coal handling Plant including Paddle feeder, Crushing & Screening and Belt Conveying System with associated Electrical, Civil & Structural and Utility work for Talcher Super Thermal Power project for M/s National Thermal Power Corporation Limited executed in1995.
  • 2000 TPH Coal handling plant for Tuticorin Thermal Power Project for M/s. Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, scope of which included Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural work.
  • 2800 TPH Lignite handling system extension in Neyveli second Thermal Power station, Stage-II for M/s Neyveli Lignite Corporation executed in 1992.
