With more than twenty-five years of experience across the Financial and IT domains, Soumen Roy brings deep expertise in enterprise technology management, digital transformation, and ERP governance. A qualified Cost Accountant and Six Sigma Green Belt holder , he has spent over two decades leading the implementation, support, and optimization of major ERP platforms including BaaN IVc4 and Oracle E-Business Suite (11i and R12) across diverse business environments.
Soumen currently serves as the Associate General Manager – Information Technology at McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited (MBECL), where he also heads the IT function. As a member of the Executive Committee, he plays a key role in defining the organisation’s IT roadmap in alignment with corporate strategy. He oversees the execution of digital initiatives, reviews departmental performance, and ensures IT governance across the enterprise.
Prior to joining MBECL, Soumen held progressive leadership roles at Tega McNally Minerals Limited and CMC Limited, where he managed major ERP and workflow-based projects for global and domestic clients, including GE Healthcare, TATA Cummins, McGraw Hill, IATA, and several government and banking institutions. His early career in finance and accounts further strengthens his understanding of operational requirements, process controls, and system-driven financial management.
Mr. Rupayan Majumdar, a Chartered Accountant with more than 35 years of experience across diverse industries focusing on financial accounting – control and reporting, formulation of business strategy through budgetary processes, managing business fundamentals through operational efficiencies, understanding the value drivers of business, managing costs, evaluation of profitability of new businesses, formulation of internal control policies, cash flow & working capital management, treasury management, direct & indirect taxation, audits under Indian / US GAAP / IFRS and all techno commercial activities besides finance.
Proven competence in spearheading initiatives leading to productivity improvement, cost optimization and efficiency enhancement and quite adept in driving internal as well as external stakeholders. Extensive know-how and hands on experience of managing critical change along with business transformation, handling people & communication during tumultuous situations. Additionally, Mr. Rupayan Majumdar possesses comprehensive knowledge about prevailing market trends and setting an innovative agenda accordingly. Moreover, with strong liaison & relationship skills, he has built & maintain long standing relations with stakeholders & key decision makers. Adept in accepting new challenges and bringing them to logical conclusions to meet organizational requirements.

Subhrangshu Sekhar Patra, Bachelor (B. Com-Hons) in Commerce from Burdwan University and a Fellow member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is also holding a Diploma in Forensic Audit from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has been serving MBE since 2006 among various departments from Finance and Accounts, Administration, Central Monitoring and Project Control and Internal Audit.
Before joining in MBE, he was a Practising member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and excel his professional career working with many organisations like State Bank of India, Coal India Limited, Tea Board of India, United Bank of India- presently Punjab National Bank. He worked with Kolkata (Calcutta) High Court as a valuer. He was also associated with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India as a Faculty Member and Examiner.
He has more than 28 years of experience in the Areas of Finance and Accounts, Internal Audit, Cost Control and Monitoring, Pricing and Valuation.
Indrani Ray is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary having over 20 years’ experience in Corporate Governance & Compliance functions, Finance & Treasury, Accounts/ Taxation/ MIS and Legal functions in listed companies. Last employment in EIH Limited of Oberoi Group. Earlier assignments include Tata Tea Limited (renamed as Tata Consumers Products Limited), Appejay Group, Philips Carbon Black Limited in RPG Group and Foster Wheeler Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Foster Wheeler USA, a major engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) company acquired by Amec plc in 2014 to form Amec Foster Wheeler, which was subsequently acquired by Wood Group in 2017

Mr. Sanjay Kumar Choudhary is Vice President (Projects) at McNally Bharat Engineering Co. Ltd (MBECL) He has got additional responsibility as Chief Operating Officer for taking care of various ongoing Joint Venture projects for Coal India Limited.
Mr. Choudhary is a seasoned Project Management Professional with more than 34 years of vast experiences in handling various diversified projects in Steel, Mining, Port and Power Plant segments of the industries. He has ability in swiftly ramping up projects with competent cross-functional skills, foreseeing performance bottlenecks and taking corrective measures on right time to ensure timely driveable.
Mr. Choudhary holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from BIT Sindri (Ranchi University) and has been continuing with MBECL since November’2008
Prior to MBECL, he has worked in various Public Sector company as well as in Private Sector companies like Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited, Central Coalfields Limited, Tata Bearing, MESCO Steel, etc. at various capacity in the field of project, production and maintenance.
Mr. Sukalyan Sarkar is the Chief Operating Officer of McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited. He joined the organisation as AVP – Supply Chain Management in 2021.
He is a Mechanical Engineer from Jadavpur University and has acquired MBA in Supply Chain Management. Being an alumnus of Calcutta Boys’ School, he also holds GDMM from IIMM, Mumbai. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers and is a Chartered Engineer. He is also a certified Internal Auditor by TUV Nord for ISO & OSHAS.
He started his career with Usha Martin Industries in their Tatanagar Steel plant (now Tata Steel – Long products division) and was the Gold Medalist of Management Trainee batch and thereafter served EPC organisations of repute such as Alstom, Siemens VAI (now Primetals), Outotec, and Danieli India Ltd. where he established himself in his career ladder spanning over EPC Steel Project and Supply Chain Management. Before joining McNally Bharat, he has served Steel Plantech Co. of Japan (JV of JFE Steel, Kawasaki, Sumitomo & Hitachi Zoshen) as Associate Director – Sales & Supply Chain Management. He enjoys the accolades of handling various mega steel projects of Tata Steel, RINL, NINL, SAIL, Arcelor Mittal, JSW and JSPL.
He was the Branch Chairman of IIMM, Kolkata during 2013-15 and is an occasional honorary lecturer in Supply Chain & Operations Management in Management institutes. He is also represented in Board of Studies and Governing Body of some technical and management institutes.
